It was a pleasant stay here in the brand-new accommodation. We are from Holland, so the use of the braai equipment was for us not as natural as for the South Africans. But you adapted immediately to our customs and demands by supplying some extra pans etc. You also organised a good seat for Lois, and her sensitive back. Dit was os eerte besoek aan Clarens en ons was be…… om my man se verjaarsdag ….. te kan vier. Clarens is ‘n pragtige dorpie (amper soos mooi soos Barrydale in die Kaap) LOL!! Dankie ons het did baie geniet, die bly was heerlik warm (in die koue winter). As ons oort weer kon sou ons weer hier kom oorbly (Swakomund is net te ver). Jul dorpie is baie mooi, en ons van stil stadige Namibia het dit baie geniet. Prost  – Harvsie & Marthi –

Serene location within easy walking distance of the village where we discovered Clarens Brewery to enjoy some beers we miss at home. We spent our time here walking the local trails, which have splendid views with not too much effort. Further afield we enjoyed full days out hiking in Golden Gate National Park. Communication with Sherrene before booking and arrival was excellent with a fast response to all our enquiries. Even though we turned up unannounced 6 hours early we were greeted with a friendly smile and allowed into the room. The room is great with everything you need to self cater and was kept spotless throughout our stay. We slept very well in the comfy bed and the shower was a delight. Sherrene and Roy were charming hosts throughout and we even went out together on our last night. Thoroughly recommended.  – Glenn –
