Hey being new to Clarens we had no idea that the MTB Ashburton Series 3 mountain bike race, was literally going to stir up the dust on our driveway this past Saturday.
Roy found a race time-table and we saw an arrow positioned at the end of Villiers St corner Berg…. so we realised we were slap bang in the buzz of it all!!!
The race started at 7.15am and we were positioned at the end of Berg to take happy snappies with my mobile. Two minutes later we saw the pace car and with lead cyclists in tow, barrelling towards us……..
No sooner had I snapped the first shot when I scored this great shot with the Telkom team up front.
We moved a few meters along Villiers St to our driveway and snapped another fab action shot as the cyclists whizzed past, leaving us ‘standing in their dust!!’
